SOS Children Village Pakistan
SOS Children’s Villages is an international non-governmental  social development organization that has been active in the field of children’s rights and committed to children’s needs and concern since 1949.In 132 countries and territories our activities focus on children without parental care and children of families in difficult circumstances.

SOS Chiildren’s Villages focuses on family-based ,long-term care of children who can no longer grow up with their biological families. At our SOS Children’s Villages and SOS Youth Facilities they experience reliable relationships and love once again ,meaning that they can recover from what they have experienced , which has often been traumatic . They grow up in stable family environment ,and are supported individually until they become independent young adults.
Out of the 132 countries in which SOS Children’s Village operate Pakistan is the only country that funds itself.
There are nine SOS Children’s Village currently in Pakistan namely:
RAWALPINDI, ISLAMABAD, MULTAN, DHODIAL, LAHORE, FAISALABAD, KARACHI, QUETTA AND SIALKOT.
Apart from all funds received within Pakistan we have support groups and friends in the UK, UAE ,Kuwait and Canada.

SOS Children’s Village in Sialkot.
The land was allocated in 2001 by the government of Punjab. We have a total area of 33 kanals 4 marlas.  The approx  cost of the project was 40 million .We have a total of 15 houses which can accommodate 150 children eventually .There is an auditorium ,community hall, playroom, dispensary, mosque, office block, classrooms, a directors residence and various other buildings on the premises. The kids have ample playing grounds and have a TV room to watch some educational programmes everyday. Each house has 10 children and 1 mother who takes care of them. These children are provided all basic amenities  including food, clothes, shelter ,education free of cost. These children are given love, security and family type environment that ensures that the children will grow up to be an active member of this society and will not depend on anybody. It is the object of this organization to make sure that these individuals participate in playing a positive role in our nation building and to make certain that they excel in all walks of life. We are extremely thankful to all our generous donors who have made this project possible in Sialkot. Now we require your efforts and help in running this organization.
